New Upmove for U.S. Steel / Companies / Company Chart Analysis
The correction in U.S. Steel (NYSE: X) from the Feb 4 high at 61.40 likely ended at last Thursday's low of 56.35, and a new upmove has emerged within the larger upleg off of the October low at 39.78.
In addition, we can still view the past 10 months as a large, double-bottom pattern that broke out to the upside above 52.00 in December and still points to 65.00 to fulfill its optimal upside target.

Completed Pullback for Silver Wheaton / Companies / Company Chart Analysis
My near-term work indicates strongly that Silver Wheaton (NYSE: SLW) ended a minor pullback at 33.60 off of yesterday's rally peak at 35.55. If accurate, this means that a new upleg is in its infancy and will extend the larger upmove from the Jan 25 low at 28.85 -- initially towards a test of 35.40/55 resistance (the 50 DMA and yesterday's high) and then to test the Dec-Jan resistance line, now at 36.75.

Amgen Pattern Calls for Bullish Outcome / Companies / Company Chart Analysis
My work is telling me that Amgen (AMGN) has an extremely bullish near and intermediate term technical set-up. Call it a giant base pattern that started in early 2007, or call it a giant coil type of sideways consolidation period. Both patterns argue for possibly acute bullish outcomes that propel AMGN towards 62.50, and then 65.00 subsequently.

BP and Toyota Motors bad stocks of 2010, maybe not ! / Companies / Company Chart Analysis
In 2010, we all remember BP and their horrific oil spill in the Gulf of Mexico. We also remember Toyota Motors issue with their brake faults. Both stocks suffered mini crashes, however both companies can be regarded as high quality with plenty of cash, both took it on the chin and said they would fix it, in which they did and are.

New Upleg Could Be Emerging for Silver Wheaton SLW / Companies / Company Chart Analysis
Silver Wheaton Corp. (SLW), a silver mining and sales company, appears technically to have ended a correction, which means a new upleg in its powerful bull market could be emerging.
My technical and pattern work is "warning" me that the correction of the most recent upleg in SLW (from 13.50 to 42.34) is at or very near conclusion in the vicinity of Friday's low of 30.91. The correction to date retraced about 40% of the prior upleg, which satisfies "healthy" parameters for a bull market pullback.

Where Apple Will Peak Prior to Correction / Companies / Company Chart Analysis
My near-term work shows Apple (AAPL) at very overbought levels for the most recent upleg from the Dec 31 low at 321.31 to today's new all-time high at 346.64. My pattern work has identified the next optimal swing target window at 346.40- 349.60 for a peak and the initiation of a correction in AAPL.

Outlook 2011, Five Stocks Due For a Pullback (CAT, AMZN, NFLX, X, BIDU) / Companies / Company Chart Analysis
It is inevitable that when you have a market run up like we have had recently driven mostly by liquidity and the Santa Claus Rally, many stocks would see pullbacks in the New Year.
The following are just five of such candidates that I believe capable of some meaningful downside risk, and are not intended to be all inclusive.

Bank of America (BAC) has emerged to the upside from its one-week coil pattern, hurdling key near-term resistance at 12.75/76, and should thrust directly towards a test of the December high at 12.93 on the way to 13.25/50 thereafter.
