Japan Background Radiation Levels Very Low

With the possible exception of Miyagi, Fukkushima and Ishikawa, the chart would indicate that the bordering regions are registering very low radiation levels. A typical radiation monitor would barely pick up anything that low. In fact, one would get several times more exposure from a radium wrist watch.
