Bullish Set-up for Treasury Bonds TLT ETF
Interest-Rates / US Bonds Feb 13, 2012 - 03:02 PM GMTMy near- and intermediate-term work indicate that the iShares Barclays 20 Year Treasury ETF (TLT) established a significant corrective low at 114.62 on Feb 9 and that since then the price structure is doing the work to create a powerfully bullish technical set-up that should propel it towards 120 in a hurry.
What exactly the fundamentals might look like to create such a catalyst for the move is anyone's guess (I am sure we could conjure up some sort of scenario, no?). Nonetheless, if the TLT climbs above today's high at 117.37, prices should accelerate towards 119.00 in the hours immediately afterwards.
Only a decline that breaks below 116.18 will compromise the timing of the expected upmove.
