My Parrot Told Me About Global Warming

Politics / Climate Change Dec 24, 2014 - 06:54 PM GMT

Politics

Ivar Giaver the Parrot
Sometimes you don't have to buy a parrot even if you never had that particular thought. My parrot adopted me without me having to go out and buy one, in Papua New Guinea. At the time a young telecom engineer used to come visit me with problems due to the tectonic movement of relay towers on PNG mountains – and he thought it could be something to do with climate change! The parrot didn't agree at all. Nor me.

How could textonics change climate or is it the other way around? Since the 2004 9.1 Richter scale magnitude undersea explosion off Aceh, Indonesia climate has changed even fster in east Asia, some claim.

The parrot seemed to be able to feed itself and rarely was interested in what I offered it like pecans or walnuts – and it definitely didn't like peanuts because they are lower class. What it did to amuse me (I think it was trying to amuse me) was slow motion acrobatics on the fly screen of my house in Gerehu, Port Moresby. Smetimes it did it all night! I deliberately chose to not teach it words although I could see it was plotting that.

Also, it didnt talk about global warming all the time, and whenever there was a minor earthquake it didn't seem too concerned. It had some friends who would visit it from time to time in the trees nearby. They were all very colorful.

Telecoms and Climate Change
North Korea's Internet breakdown could hav been caused by climate change, not by Mr Obama. Changing climate definitely makes the Earth's sperficial layers more jell-o so they move around easier.  The equatorial circumference of the Earth regularly varies in total length by a dozen kilometres or more, waxing and waning.

To be sure, increasing the power density and the frequency used for WiFi emissions and receptions can limit te damage. However it is a race with Earth geological and geochemical processes which has to be lost by humans. The parrot would have agreed, it was very philosophical at times.

Ivar Giaever would almost certainly be sympathetic to the Svenskark gamma ray theory of mild global warming and intense climate change. Global warming, such as it exists, is only a symptom and not a cause. If you don't like that you can try another planet or solar system if you can get there. Which you can't.

There is no point in talking about the carbon inventory of this planet and how it got there, you might as well talk about the radiological inventory of the world's NPPs and their death threat to civilization as we know or knew it.

For sure and certain parrots don't like snow – like polar bears! If you like in a northern Canadian mining town and your bins get raised for leftover KFCs and McDonalds, by polar bears, that is only normal and natural. Why do they have to wase their time dancing around on  slushy ice floe?  I would propose a Global Fund to replace waste bins trashed by polar bears in northern USA, Canada, Greenland, Norway, Russia or wherever polar bears happen to be operating. Leave them alone! They don't like human beings and why should they?

Milankovitch
It is astounding that this scientist is either totally ignored or treated as some kind of freak. Basically he said its totally inevitable that climate change s. In a certain number of thousands of years, December 22 will be midsummer's day in the northern hemisphere – and you have no choice.

Milankovitch had no time at all for tomfoolery like "what is the ideal and right weather and climate for us all?". Ask Al Gore or Richard Branson or James Hansen (now retired). If you are worried about increasing humidity and cloud cover you have every right to be worried.

However Milankovitch gave no place to GRB-gamma ray bursts as a climate changing agent, nor very much t orogenesis, let alone human CO2 and particulate emissions.

Parrots Can Be Good Friends
I heartile advise people to think about having a parrot stay with them or at least visit them on a regular basis. Crows can be induced to do the same thing but it takes more time. Jackdaws also.  Some fogs can be useful company, also. The only real bottom line is that none of them will waste your time whining about global warming,

We all recommend that you stay away from recognizing the Islamic State as anything remotely real. It has to be put down by force. They might be using carrier piegoens to evade our electronic surveillance, but we can use parrots! Take you parrot seriously and don't take the Islamic State seriously. Defeating the Islamic State is as epic as taking no heed of idle chatter about "global warming". Neither of them exist!

Did Obama call that "nihilism"?
