Trump To Continue Bankrupting The US Through Foreign Wars

Remember pre-election, how the theme was that a Killary presidency meant certain war? And, how a Trump presidency would mean friendship with Russia and bringing many of the troops home?

Well, so much for that! Trump is just as oriented toward war as Hillary. The difference is one of geography. Trump’s wars are located particularly in the Middle East. He is already looking even worse than Nobel Peace Prize winner, Barack O'Bomber or George “Victory in Iraq” Bush.

Initially, Trump was touted by many as a changemaker. He was going to “drain the swamp”. What happened? Well, he mostly refilled the swamp with Goldman Sachs and other Wall Streeters. And, as for other “change”? The IRS continues to extort. The NSA continues to spy. The Federal Reserve continues to print. And the federal government continues to drown in debt.

In other words, almost nothing of importance has changed.

What has changed? Well, Trump is massively increasing the police state and is a strong backer of the right of police to rob anyone they like for any reason (called “asset forfeiture”).

And as for the Department of Offense and the Pentagram, nothing much is changing there either… except Trump wants to waste even more stolen money (taxes) on the Pentagon which just recently announced that it can’t account for over $6 trillion.

And now, Trump is looking to the Middle East for his war. Defense Secretary James Mattis, recently wanted the US Navy to “intercept and board an Iranian ship to look for contraband weapons possibly headed to Houthi fighters in Yemen.”

Mattis ultimately decided not to attack because the ship was in international waters and news of his potential action had already leaked.

It was “illegal leaks” that scotched the operation - at least for now, nothing else. Such intentions “significantly increases the risk of war” according to Trump critics who point out his administration is filled with war hawks.

Some may have thought Mattis would be a “responsible adult,” but this is far from the truth. In fact, Mattis has called Iran “the single most enduring threat to stability and peace in the Middle East.” Yes, the Iran who has never attacked another country in centuries… while the US attacks a few nearly every year.

Mattis is no dove generally. He’s been involved in Iraq war crimes such as when he ordered an attack on Mukaradeeb in April 2004 that ended up killing 42 civilians, along with 13 children at a wedding.

Even worse, in November 2004, he set up the Marine assault on Fallujah which turned the city into rubble and cost at least 800 civilian deaths.

Mattis is nicknamed “Mad Dog” because of his militant sayings such as telling Marines under his command in Iraq to “be polite, be professional, but have a plan to kill everybody you meet.”

He is a firm believer in hegemony when it comes to the Middle East and under this viewpoint, Iran will be the No. 1 enemy. He called the three biggest threats to the US, “Iran, Iran, Iran.”

That is laughable. But, certainly, the three biggest threats to Iran are absolutely, “the US, the US, the US”.

More importantly, however, for you personally, is to be aware that nothing has changed. The US is still bankrupt, the Federal Reserve is still printing money to keep the system alive and, like most empires, it will all end due to massive military spending and war.

One way to prepare is to become more well versed about gold, silver and cryptocurrencies like bitcoin. As well as investments in foreign farmland and real estate.

Last week we concluded our TDV Internationalization & Investment Summit where experts discussed all of this. You can get access to a lot of what was said by viewing the videos of many of the speeches here.

Many people fell, like they often do, for the words of a politician like Trump and thought he was going to “fix everything”. Not only is he not going to fix anything… he is going to make things far worse.

Use this time now to prepare for what is coming.
