Shocking Video of Female Sheffield Tree Protestor Screaming for Police Help to Stop Alleged Assault

Shocking video reveals what is happening on Sheffield's streets 2018, as tree campaigners perfectly legally clinging on to railings are being pulled away by force by the Labour controlled councils contractor Amey's HiViz security, all whilst the police watch in silence, ignoring the desperate screams for help from the lady protestor as the alleged assault takes place resulting in her being dragged away by the contractors security. Also briefly in presence on this day was the local MP Louise Haigh who briefly commented about what was happening.

Meanwhile the mainstream press has been obsessed with 'Tea Gate', a propaganda story right from the local media through to the broadsheets focusing on allegations that some Amey tree felling contractors were allegedly 'poisoned' last year from cups of tea handed to them by residents. The Daily Mail names a couple, John and Sue Unwin whom detectives have spoken to following allegations made of worker(s) having fallen ill last October shortly after having drunk cups of tea that were handed to them by Dr Unwin, who vehemently denies the allegations as reported by the Daily Mail.

I am sure there will likely be many other innocent Sheffield residents who having handed tree felling contractors cups of tea over the past year will now be worried about the possibility of a belated knock on the door.

However, the real story is the not the alleged tea poisoning which in my opinion is just a smoke screen put up in the wake of the weeks real story of the events on Meersbrook Park Road, one of literal mayhem and chaos as hired Bouncers assaulted tree protestors whilst the police just looked on in silence ignoring the pleas of the general public to intervene as the following video illustrates:

Mayhem at Sheffield Street Tree Protests, Police, Bouncers and Multiple Assaults Meersbrook Park Road

Whilst both sides claimed assaults with the mainstream local media focusing on Amey's case. However, video evidence illustrates the reality of what took place on MPR as as set against mainstream spin. The video is thanks to local resident Russell Johnson which shows multiple assaults on the tree protestors as they are punched and dragged out of partially cordoned off zones around the streets trees.

Darren Butt, Account Director for Amey "Streets Ahead" talking to Toby Foster stated that tree fellings had been suspended for the remainder of the week though also stated that they would soon resume. Whilst at the same time praising the conduct of his men, apparently even after watching footage of what took place on Meersbrook Park Road.

"My stewards and their conduct has been exemplary. Throughout last week and this week" - Darren Butt.

To which Toby Foster responded by referring to video footage he had seen "Was that an uppercut I saw thrown."

The above videos clearly illustrate that the council / Amey's tree felling campaign is unsustainable and therefore it is highly probable that the felling of street trees is unlikely to resume in the near future. Infact the next tree felling may not be until AFTER the May 2018 local elections so as to limit political fallout in the run up to the vote.
