RedSpottedHanky.com Unreliable Train Travel Evouchers Bookings for Tesco Club Card Customers
Personal_Finance / Travel & Holidays Nov 23, 2018 - 08:38 AM GMTUnfortunately it's not just Britain's network rail services that are proving unreliable for Britain's long suffering train passengers, now even booking agents such as Red Spotted Hanky are letting down travelers, leaving them in the lurch for those who use their evouchers system such as Tesco Club Card customers, many of whom had come to rely on this service as a means of utilising their tesco club card points.
The evouchers system is supposed to be straight forward. Tesco clubcard customers select the amount of club card vouchers they want to convert into tokens that RedSpottedHanky.com then automatically convert into evouchers onto the accounts of customers, all done and dusted within 72 hours.
Unfortunately that is not the current experience of Tesco Club Card customers, who literally are being left hanging as the 72 hour limit passes without any response from RSH or evouchers showing up in customer accounts.
Worse still Red Spotted Hanky is not replying to customer queries so the 3 days turns into 4, 5, 6.... leaving customers getting desperate to get their trains booked as their travel dates approach and ticket prices rise, eventually abandoning the wait and booking rail travel services elsewhere.
Whilst Red Spotted Hanky is currently unresponsive to customer queries of non receipt of evouchers (personal experience), Tesco is giving the following reply to customers :
"There ongoing issue at the moment with red spotted hanky and cannot give an updated when you will be credited and the other option we can arrange to refund your Clubcard points if you would prefer that."
The bottom line is Red Spotted Hanky Evouchers service is currently unreliable for at least Tesco Club Card customers, so travelers should not waste valuable time waiting as their travel dates approach but instead go ahead and book with a more reliable rail ticket service provider, especially as Tesco is unable to state when the issue will be resolved. Whilst those currently waiting for Red Spotted Hanky evouchers to materialise should immediately request a refund of their Club Card vouchers from Tesco and book rail travel elsewhere.
