At the 2017 General Election Labour surprised all including themselves by winning Sheffield Hallam, and ejecting the former Lib Dem leader Nick Clegg from Parliament.

Unfortunately for Labour Jared O' Mara turned out to be a total disaster, heralding 2 years of chaos and failure to represent the constituents of Sheffield Hallam that included being suspended from the party, all at a time when the local population was in open revolt to the insane policies emanating out of the city council.

And so now 2 1/2 years on the Lib Dems look set to retake the Sheffield Hallam seat form a chaotic Labour party. Especially given the close result in 2017. That saw Labour winning the seat by just over 1000 votes.

However it is is not just Labour MP's who are unhinged but the Labour city council actions in recent years have been for want of a better word insane, for instance the Labour council several years ago embarked on an crazy policy of felling tens of thousands of Sheffield's street trees. Precisely at a time when the world was waking up to impending climate catastrophe with the need to preserve our existing carbon capture trees and to plant many millions more.

The people of Sheffield in Not just Hallam but right across the city increasingly rebelled against the Labour city councils insane street trees fellings policy by starting to protest against the tree felling programme that prompted the insane Labour council into a series of escalations including deploying an army of private security guards onto the streets of Sheffield all to enable Sheffield's street trees to be felled.
