Chinese People do NOT Eat Dogs Newspeak

Chinese people do NOT eat DOGS as part of pseudo religious superstition to ward off Summer heat and the practice is NOT widespread, because eating ones pet looks very bad to outside eyes therefore the CCP dictates Newspeak that Chinese people do NOT eat dogs even though there is annual an annual dog eating festival and Dog meat shops are widespread across China situated in every city and town.

Therefore that is the GOOD FACT that is spewed out from docile chinese mouth pieces across the media from mainstream to youtube to tiktok a case of "Don't be stupid, Chinese people DO NOT EAT DOGS!" When the reality to this Newspeak fiction is that Chinese people actually DO EAT DOGS! But the nature of the crime against Dogs i.e. the manner of their deaths is such that it basically just does NOT happen!

By now any 'chinese' people reading this will be getting angry and immediately start to write comments below that Nadeem stop spewing anti chinese propaganda about chinese people eating dogs which they do NOT DO! We do NOT eat our pets! But the sad truth is worse than that because as part of the pseudo religion the Dog has to be killed in the cruelest manner possible such as being boiled or burned alive or slowly beaten to death so as to intensify the magical summer heat combating properties of the meat from dead dog, Of course none of which actually happens, or does it? Maybe these 2 former residents of China can spell some light on CCP newspeak.

This provides us a glimpse into what we are dealing with and to never take anything that represents the picture that the CCP attempts to propagandise at face value. Case in point being "China will Never invade Taiwan" Of course they bloody will and sooner than anyone realises including the so called intelligence agencies. I am reminded of when I was posting articles in the lead up the Russian annexation of Crimea that Russia was about to Invade Ukraine and ignite a civil war and I would get comments from Ukrainians that Nadeem this time you are wrong because the Ukrainians and Russians are like brothers it will never happen, then several weeks later Putin's black shirt army appears on the streets of Crimea and so began Ukraine's dissent into civil war West vs East.

The limitations of Newspeak's vocabulary enabled the Party to effectively control the population's minds, by allowing the user only a very narrow range of spoken and written thought; hence, words such as: crimethink (thought crime), doublethink (accepting contradictory beliefs), and Ingsoc (English Socialism) communicated only their surface meanings.[1]: 309–10

New China Newspeak is an accumulation of written and spoken styles of Chinese, it reflects both an impoverishment as well as an elaboration of Chinese as a communicative tool; it overlaps but is not quite the same as the ‘formalized language of Chinese politics’ so aptly discussed elsewhere.[1] The expression covers a wide range of prose and spoken forms of modern Chinese that have evolved and been consciously developed as the result of profound linguistic changes and experiments that date back to the late-Qing period, all of which are intimately connected with politics, ideas and the projection of power. Some of these styles reflect the militarization of Chinese in modern times (during the Republic, in Manchukuo, and under both the Nationalist and the Communist parties). Added to this is the stilted diction of bureaucratese (developed on the basis of traditional bureaucratic language), as well as scientific and academic jargon, to which have been added various forms of political and commercial exaggeration, euphemisms and neologisms. It mixes argot and the vernacular with the wooden language of Communist Party discourse. In recent decades this body of language practices has been ‘enriched’ by the verbiage of neoliberal economics and revived Cultural Revolution-era vituperation. New China Newspeak provides the linguistic architecture to The China Story and, therefore, to understand better that story, it is important to be mindful of the provenance and proliferation of New China Newspeak.

Some may object to the use of Orwellian when describing either the reality or the linguistic world of China today. Writers like Ai Weiwei would probably disagree. Linguistic convolutions offer insights into real-time power play, and they have been fodder for creative writers and artists since the early post-Cultural Revolution days. The ideological dialect behind the logorrhea of the party-state – a barrage of verbiage that is easily derided and often overlooked – is not coincidental to a system that articulates itself on the basis of a complex marriage between the territory of dynastic habit, authoritarian politics (related to the Republican period) and high-socialist doublethink.
