RIP Google Search / Companies / Google
Summary:
- A federal judge ruled Google (GOOG) illegally maintained its search dominance by paying Apple (AAPL) $20 billion annually to be the default search engine on iPhones. This could impact Apple’s profits and signal a decline in Google’s search dominance.
- The growing US national debt could lead to the devaluation of the dollar, resulting in higher stock prices.
- While most investors are cut off from the private markets, the Destiny Tech100 (DXYZ) is a fund that allows anyone to own a slice of companies like SpaceX and OpenAI.

GOOGLE Q4 Earnings - Buy the Rumour Sell the News / Companies / Google
GOOGLE - $101, EGF -10%, EGF12M -4%. PE 20.
Google declares WAR on Microsoft GPT as founders Larry and Sergey return to lead more than 20 AI projects some of which you will have heard of, many that will be revealed over the coming months. The problem with Google is that the current CEO is a bit of a *****, a manager rather than a visionary, not aggressive enough, not when one looks at Elon Musk and Mark Zuckerberg, hence the founders have come back to get Google back on track to turn it into the ruthless Sky net that we all love, to crush the competition so as to ensure that Google remains the primary AI company on the planet. The bottom line is that Google already has everything to out compete GPT and anything else Microsoft is cooking in attempts to out search Google Search.

Alphabet Google GOOG Stock Price Analysis Forecast 2023 / Companies / Google
Ai Stocks Portfolio
A quick look at the current state of my portfolio which is now 88.5% invested after arrival of approx 5% of fresh cash and after I sold all of my NBIX holding given that it earlier retreated from a multi year high, and that it tends to trade within a range of $125 to $76. I have update the table to indicate when columns were last updated. I have also replaced the beta column with something more useful called Future Growth (1-10), which is basically how I see the COMPANY doing in terms of future growth potential where 10 is the highest and 1 is the lowest, note this does not mean that the stock prices will match growth potential due to a myriad of factors such as sentiment, valuation and politics, but it gives insight into the underlying prospects for the businesses where the two stocks that score 10 are AMD and TSMC which is why I am heavily invested in both and don't fret about stock price drops in either as recently experienced because the underlying businesses have huge long-term future growth potential. Stocks that score 9 are Nvidia, Facebook, ASML and IBM, which again means I am not too phased by what we recently witnessed with the likes of META and and Nvidia, stock prices rarely reflect the actual state of the underlying business as they oscillate between extreme fear and extreme FOMO as illustrated when one watches the Cartoon Network (CNBC).

GOOGLE TO BE SLICIED INTO 20 PIECES! / Companies / Google
Strong earnings growth and news of a 20 to 1 STOCK SPLIT sent GOOGLE soaring towards it's all time highs, Stocks tend to run higher into a split and fall afterwards so I plan to be fully invested by Mid June and will likely take profits on the split on 15th July. If you hold whole shares then you will get 20 new Google shares, if you hold fractional shares you will likely get $$$'s in exchange for your fractional holdings which may not be so bad given that the stock should fall after the split. Google is Numero uno! Should be at the very core of every stock portfolio, at 2.4% of my portfolio my holding is light, I want to see my holding rise to about 7% of portfolio. Again just remember if you own a fractional share then you will likely get cash instead of split shares, so if you hold say 1.8 shares right now then you definitely want to look at pepping your holding up to over 2.0, unless you want the cash.

Google $2980, PE 28.7, EC 30.
Earnings 2nd best to Microsoft. Though it is higher risk due to despite all the AI noise remains a one trick pony at heart i.e. an advertising company. So in light of earnings I am raising the buying level a little to $2675 with no firm plans to buy ay more right now.
Google Insiders - Buy / Sell ratio 48%. Buying at $0 cost and then going on to sell at above $2800.

Google Glass Metaverse Big Fat FAIL! / Companies / Google
I am really disappointed with Google given that they were ahead of the curve some 8 years ago with Google Glass, but then effectively put it it all onto the back burner with nothing much heard of since 2019. So it looks like Google could have blown it as they were really on the cusps of producing something that could have been huge but after 5 years of trying to make it work it appears the technology was just not good enough at the time and it looks like they gave up, maybe they are still quietly working on Google Glass in the depths of Google Labs to one day make a big reveal?

GOOGLE (Alphabet) Stock Price Trend Analysis - Investing in AI Tech Stocks 2021 / Companies / Google
Google has had a spectacular bull run to stand up 34% year to date! In terms of valuations Google's stock price is running a little ahead of itself on an EC of 49 against 44 in February. I consider a sweet buying spot for Google when EC is below 40 which would imply a fair price for Google around 2000. So Google is over priced at $2400, in terms of current earnings. In terms of a Buy %, Google is neutral on 50%.

Google Alphabet (GOOG) AI Deep Mind Stock Trend Analysis / Companies / Google
Google stock has just rocketed higher after under performing it's brethren, and coming from it's last great buying opportunity low during September that saw Google trade down to $1400. This illustrates the primary point that we don't know precisely WHEN an individual stock will surge higher i.e. the AI stocks are not going to all move in lock step together. So it is pointless to ask questions such as why is Amazon soaring but Google is not, if a stock is good then eventually it will come good in terms of price performance and Google is literally PRIMARY which means that Google is likely to be the first mega-corp to be run by an AI in all but name. So the existence and scope of the AI's control and management needs will need to be inferred where one big clue will be inexplicable to most stock price movements that to me reveal the handiwork of post human intelligence - DEEP MIND!

The Great Google Crash - Chinese Cyber Attacks Could Trigger More Global Outages During 2021 / Companies / Google
ALL Google services globally went dark on the morning of 14th of December 2020. That's Gmail, Youtube, Drive, Hangouts and Search ceased to function with users unable to log into accounts. All this whilst a pandemic had forced many millions of workers to work form home. The outage started at 11.50am GMT and continued for over an hour before users could once more log in and start to work.
This global outage brought home the extent to which we have all become reliant on Google services which through accident or design could reek havoc across the globe, especially giving the ongoing US / China brewing conflicts that undoubtedly will spill over into cyber space.

Seeking online approvals can be the most challenging course that any brand has to follow during its initial years. And that's why digital media marketing services extend several assisting tools for brands to gain online recognition and new business. One popular channel is Google Ads (formerly Google AdWords). However, there has been some debate around how Google Ads doesn’t always generate a strong ROI, and hence there is absolutely no point in getting involved as it will zap your budget. But you should know the problem generally doesn’t lie with Google Ads itself, but more with the campaign strategy employed.

This analysis will now seek to update potential buying levels for AI stocks during Q2 of where stocks could trade down to in terms of technical support levels during the anticipated general stock market correction of about 15% that should be imminent.
Top 5 AI Stocks are all primary, the ordering of which is arbitrary for instance of the 3 Google, Amazon and Microsoft it's a toss up of which comes first. For instance If I was compiling the list today then I would likely put Amazon at No1 ahead of Google. So keep in mind that the rankings are more in terms of primary, Secondary and Tertiary rather than their number order.

How Google Has Become the Worlds Biggest Travel Company / Companies / Google
For decades travel agents had a “lock” on vacations. Before the internet it was near impossible to find cheap fares yourself. And choosing the perfect hotel involved a lot of flicking through glossy brochures.
The “do it yourself” approach was a huge hassle. It was a lot easier to hire a knowledgeable travel agent. Then disruptor stocks like Booking.com (BKNG) and Expedia (EXPE) blew up the old model forever. With a few clicks, you could compare any flight or hotel in the world.

The Google Globalism Gulag / Politics / Google
The puzzling switch in the corporate motivation of Google seems confusing on the surface. But if you dig deeper into the manure of globalism, the notion that Google is primarily a business for profit is exposed as a distraction of what it really is and how it operates. It is entirely understandable that free internet services, especially when they usually work well and use superior features will attract the public in droves. However, the filtration of search results that only provide a biased outcome can no longer be denied. Notwithstanding, who benefits the most from the abandonment of the old motto, "Don't be evil"?

Progressive Google Internet Censorship / Politics / Google
You remember? "A long time ago in a galaxy far, far away...." also applies to a cosmos other than Star Wars. The degrading of free speech inevitably leads to censorship and a societal purge of ideas that conflict with the latest evolution of political correctness. The 21st Century version of book burning has gone digital and automated using Artificial Intelligence that applies algorithm filters to exclude the free exchange of different views and accounts of historic analysis. The most partisan progressive cannot maintain that the liberal bias which has now become the hallmark of Google's search results and news is based upon any objective standards of empirical information or fair and balanced reporting.

YouTube has effectively told all small youtubers to get lost, as from the 20th of February it will be demonetizing MOST Youtube channels, as most channels are small, either sub 1000 subscribers or sub 4000 view hours per year. Now I am sure all small youtubers out there would agree that it was never about the money, for most are unlikely to be receiving more than $20 per month in revenue, which won't even pay for a weeks coffee. Google is the Master Spy of the Intelligence Community / Politics / Google
Is there anyone on the planet that does not have their personal lives exposed to the data collection behemoth of the corporatist and government partnership? Google was developed with and under the intelligence funding of the deep state. The marvel of a premier digital search engine was welcomed as a tremendous achievement by everyone who longed for a definitive method to secure access to sites that reflected market or research results. Few companies names become synonymous with the product or service provided. Who does not refer to making a copy reproduction as Xerox the document? Likewise, as a pure commercial function, Google defined the designation for internet searches. Fast forward to the current state of draconian governance. What stands out is that the systematic rewriting of history and access to a free exchange of ideas and questioning has been supplanted by an approved filter with limited options.

Google Isn’t as Expensive as You May Believe / Companies / Google

My stock analysis indicates that some of you may feel that, at nearly $800.00 a share, Google is valued at way too lofty a price. Moreover, some may be spooked by the recent collapse of Apple Inc. (NASDAQ/AAPL) on the price chart after trading at over $705.00 a share in September 2012. What I would say to you is that Google is not Apple, and it’s definitely a much better company than Facebook, based on my stock analysis.

At just over $700.00 a share, you may think the stock is expensive. On an absolute basis, a $700.00-plus stock is not cheap, but on a valuation and comparative basis, Google is still tops, according to my stock analysis.

Where Google Gets Its Power / Companies / Google
On September 21, 2011, Google executive chairman Eric Schmidt faced a hailstorm of criticism from senators and rival CEOs alike at a hearing of the Senate Judiciary Committee's Antitrust, Competition Policy, and Consumer Rights Subcommittee. According to Nextag (who?) CEO Jeffrey Katz, "Google rigs the results" of searches to give preferential treatment to its own businesses. Yelp (who, again?) CEO Jeremy Stoppelman claimed, "Google is no longer in the business of sending people to the best destinations on the Web. It has everything to do with generating more revenue." Senator Mike Lee of Utah charged the search engine of having "clear and inherent conflict of interest."

Why It's Time to Buy Google Inc. (Nasdaq: GOOG) / Companies / Google
Jack Barnes writes: By announcing its plans to buy Motorola Mobility Holdings Inc. (NYSE: MMI) yesterday (Monday), Google Inc. (Nasdaq: GOOG) is forcing me to make a statement that I never thought I would make: It's time to buy Google.
The $12.5 billion deal will see Google acquire the phone-making half of the Motorola Inc. spin-off that took effect in January. Google is paying $40 a share in cash - about a 63% premium to Motorola Mobility's closing price on Friday. The deal - which Google says will help it "supercharge" its Android smartphone business - will close late this year or early in 2012.

Google Plus: Learning from Buzz Failure / Companies / Google
About 14 months ago, Google released what turned out to be the biggest flop in the company's history. It was called Buzz. The idea was to leverage its email war chest to create a social network to compete directly with Twitter and Facebook.
It released Buzz all at once and activated it immediately. Buzz even prepopulated its networks with the user's most commonly emailed friends, whether that was your pastor or your drinking buddies. That was the strategic error that revealed the underlying problem. All in an instant, worlds crashed, and people went absolutely nuts trying to shut it off.

Inflation Hits Google, Share Price Falls 14% / Companies / Google
Well who'd have thunk it?The cost of doing business is rising and GOOG happens to be one of those businesses that lacks pricing power as their rates are generally set through an auction process and their users have to VOLUNTEER to pay more money to advertise. Most advertisers on Google are on fixed budgets, like MSM advertisers and Google has done a great job of replicating that model. Why then, should it be surprising if a maturing Google begins to look more like a traditional media outlet than a dot com company with exploding growth?

Is it time to Buy Google? / Companies / Google
Some time ago I caught Reggie Middleton of BoomBustBlog.com on TV saying he was very bullish on Google (GOOG). The prime reason behind this was Google dominant positioning within the mobile advertising market via it acquisition of Admob (Androids mobile OS). Ok we believe him, but we required GOOG to sell off to let us in at a decent price. We have a sell off, but should we buy.

Over two thousand years ago, China began to build its Great Wall in order to keep nomadic tribes and marauding armies from crossing its borders. Google Advertising revenues to pass UK Commercial TV Stations - Channel 4 / Companies / Google
Google will earn more advertising revenue in the UK this year than Channel 4. Who's chief executive warned the TV industry that they had underestimated the threat from the internet. Andy Duncan said some traditional broadcasters had been slow to recognise the challenge posed by the internet and multi-channel TV, which cut into the audience and ad revenues of terrestrial broadcasters.
'This, reinforces that significant structural change has been going on and will continue to go on,' Duncan said.
Some broadcasters have been very slow to realise this. The industry as a whole is frankly rather backward looking and is perhaps underestimating the scale of change that is going on and the pace of change. Duncan said Channel 4, which is publicly owned but funded by advertising, had had an “incredibly good year”, increasing its audience share by 10% and boosting its share of the ad market. This made the comparison to the search engine all the more striking, he said.
