Tory BrExit Chaos Cripples UK Economy, Wrecks Housing Market Confidence / Housing-Market / BrExit
It was all supposed to be so straight forward, the people of Britain vote in a referendum, the results of which the politicians then carry out. Unfortunately, as the latest saga in an unfolding 18 month long BrExit nightmare shows that the Governments implementation of Brexit is turning out disastrously which has had a confidence eroding effect on the UK economy and housing market.
The general public, me included have long since become bored to death with the relentless Tory infighting that the mainstream media obsess over, one of deal or no deal coverage in the count down to the final deadline, though where the EU is concerned they are experts at kicking the can down the road so don't be surprised to hear news that the deadlines have all been kicked some months or even a year down the road.

Brexit Gross Incompetence / Politics / BrExit
Here’s the lowdown: the EU’s single market mechanism dictates freedom of movement for labor, capital, services and goods. These are not divisible; you cannot have one without the other. Still, that’s precisely what Theresa May, again, is proposing. She basically wants to keep the UK in the single market for goods, and make other arrangements for the rest. The EU will not accept that because it could have 27 other countries coming with their own versions of single market à la carte.

Britain Pushes for Brexit or Bust / Politics / BrExit
There are competing arguments as to how a Brexit will impact Britain. Those opposing a Brexit believe it will have disastrous repercussions on the UK economy, plunging the country into raging inflation, high unemployment, and a skills shortage among others. One of the more pressing concerns for Britain is the exodus of companies from the City of London to other European capitals.

Soft Fake BrExit as Theresa May Destroys Britain's Strong EU Negotiating Stance / Politics / BrExit
So everyone got the 2017 UK general election outcome WRONG. Which included my UK house prices based analysis that was the most accurate predictor of the 2015 general election, however this time based on April house price data implied a Conservative win on 342 seats. So despite being the most accurate of all of the forecasts out there, nevertheless did get the election outcome wrong i.e. unlike for Trump there was no betting markets profits bonanza for this election.

Why The EU’s Recent Plans To Regulate London’s Financial Sector Are Overblown / Politics / BrExit
By Antonia Colibasanu : A major concern after Brexit was that it will destroy the financial sector in the UK and and the EU since London is a financial hub.
Those who hold this view would see the European Commission’s new plans announced on June 13 to regulate a very lucrative industry in London’s financial sector as a case in point.

UK’s Weaker Brexit Hand with the EU / Politics / BrExit
Prime Minister May pushed for a snap election in June 2017 to strengthen her hand in the impending Brexit talks. In practice, she has weakened UK's bargaining power at the EU’s expense, while the latest London Bridge incident introduces new uncertainty and volatility into the EU/UK divorce proceedings.Like too many times before, British police declared a “major incident” on London Bridge after a van reportedly hit multiple pedestrians.

BrExit Threat - London Bridge is (Broken) Down / Politics / BrExit
The French election, won just now by Emmanuel Macron, put several segments of the French population opposite one another in a pretty fierce contest. And that contest will continue. Because Macron won’t be able to lift the French economy out of its doldrums any more than Le Pen could have, or than Trump can life the US, and the new president will have the honor of presiding over a further and deepening downturn. The French political dividing line was aptly described by Simon Kuper recently:

Did MI6 Not Putin Hack French Election, Macron Emails Leak for BrExit War? / ElectionOracle / BrExit
A huge estimated 9 gigabytes of the Macron personal and campaign emails have been leaked within 24 hours of the French people going to the polls with all eyes on Czar Putin's hacking regime that so successfully hacked the US Presidential election for his Manchurian candidate Donald Trump. Where for the French election Putin's clear candidate of choice is far right Marine Le Pen, who earlier in the campaign had paid a visit to her master at the Kremlin, so it is no wonder that every one in the clueless mainstream press is pointing the finger at Czar Putin.

BrExit War - Theresa May Warns EU to Cease Interfering in UK General Election / Politics / BrExit

The Great BrExit Divides - Britain, USA and France / Politics / BrExit
Something hit me this week. The maps which came out on Monday and detailed the outcome of the French elections, were telling a story, and a familiar one by now. A story of deep division. There are a number of such maps now depicting the Brexit vote in the UK, the US presidential elections, and its French counterpart.
In all three cases they leave me wondering something along the lines of: ‘Are you guys sure you want to remain in the same country with each other?’ Because to me that is not all that obvious, and I think it’ll get less so as time passes. For instance in the case of France, the ‘ideological’ differences between Macron and Le Pen are substantial to say the least, they’re worlds apart.

EU-UK Trade Will Continue Because Germany Needs It To / Politics / BrExit
BY JACOB SHAPIRO : British Prime Minister Theresa May has signed a letter officially invoking Article 50. That starts the process of the United Kingdom's withdrawal from the European Union.
Almost a year has passed since 52% of British voters opted to leave the EU. But the process for separation has now been initiated. The next issue is how to understand what will happen during the two years of UK-EU negotiations that lie ahead.

The BrExit War, Game Theory Strategy for What UK Should Do to Win / Politics / BrExit
The BrExit Story - BrExit is the latest big story for the people of Britain to believe in, a story that has split the population in half between the Remainer's and the Leavers. The BrExit vote was a reaction to the slow dissolution of what was once the world’s most powerful nation into just another bolt on to the European Union Superstate. For Leavers BrExit is seen as a last ditched effort for Britain to resurrect its golden age. So whilst you read part 2 of my comprehensive BrExit analysis, remember that BrExit is just the latest story built on past stories of glory and it won't be too long before we all move onto the next big story, as that is what humans do best, tell stories and believe them to be true, be they religious, political, social, personal, ethnic or economic stories. But today's story is BrExit.

What Happens to Britain’s Borders After the Brexit? Potential to Fracture the U.K. / Politics / BrExit
Splitting from the European Union will inevitably strain the United Kingdom's territorial integrity. Those pushing for Scotland and Northern Ireland to secede from the United Kingdom are using Brexit to justify their agendas. Brexit will also open a debate between the central government in London and the country's devolved governments about who will control the powers that will be repatriated from Brussels. With authority over policy areas such as agriculture, fisheries, industry and the environment returning to the United Kingdom after Brexit, the administrations of Wales, Scotland and Northern Ireland will push London to transfer many of those attributions to them.

The BrExit War - Britain Intelligence Super Power Covert War With the EU / Politics / BrExit
Britain may have stopped being a military super power shortly after winning World War 2, a war that virtually bankrupted the British Empire leading to its dissolution. However the cold war, another war that Britain played a pivotal role in winning, where despite Britain having one of the world’s most effective intelligence apparatus that apart from the bond movies has done a good job of mostly remaining secret, instead letting the CIA and NSA take the public limelight, however did abysmally fail to avert BrExit from becoming manifest, that virtually all saw as an impossible outcome as the following video of Brexit night illustrates.

The Brexit Has Begun: Now What? / Politics / BrExit
Until now, the Brexit had mostly been a succession of public statements, declarations of intent, veiled threats and wishful thinking. But today, the British government made the United Kingdom's departure from the European Union manifest by officially invoking Article 50 of the EU treaty and delivering formal notification of its departure from the Continental bloc, the first member ever to do so. This started the clock on negotiations over the terms of the divorce and their future relationship, which will leave both the United Kingdom and the European Union considerably changed.

Brexit: The Chaotic Divorce Saga Continues / Politics / BrExit
"It will be a formidable challenge for Britain’s next prime minister to make an economic, diplomatic and political success out of Brexit. Or, to set the bar at a more realistic level, to contain the damage." – Andrew Rawnsley
Much has been, and continues to be written in the press about Great Britain and her extraction from the European Union (EU), and by the looks of things, it is turning out to be a very messy divorce. The bad news is that Theresa May, the British Prime Minister, has not triggered Article 50. For the uninformed and confused among us, Article 50 is the formal notice that the UK needs to give the EU that she intends to withdraw from the European Union.

Scotland Second Independence Referendum War - SNP Determined to Destroy the UK / Politics / BrExit
In the run up to Scotland's September 2014 Independence Referendum, the Scottish Nationalists from Alex Salmond to Nichola Sturgeon down promised that they would abide by the results of the referendum, declaring that it was at least a once in a generation decision if not once in a life time decision. So here's a reminder of why the SNP cannot be trusted who blindly only see Independence as the answer to every question, and thus remain fanatically determined to destroy the United Kingdom at every opportunity.
