Everyone wants an RTX 3000 series card, but their ain' t no stock. So if you really need a graphics card what about GTX 970 which can be had on ebay for about £120. Why a GTX 970? We'll for one thing it can power up to 4 displays without cutting a sweat! I.e. the temps remain low. Unlike most RTX 3080's that are selling for well over £800, many on ebay over £1000 that can only power 3 displays!

The GTX 970 is a great card for many more reasons for instance unlike the power hungry RTX series, with a TDP of 140 it does not need to ramp up the fans so tends to stay quiet most of the time.
