Live Cattle Commodity Trading Analysis / Commodities / Livestock

By: Austin_Galt

Pattern – a downtrend is clearly in process while the action since 2017 looks corrective in nature. I believe this corrective phase still has a little more time left before the downtrend resumes.

Bollinger Bands – price has been finding resistance from the middle band but I favour price to overcome it shortly and head up to the upper band where the next lower high can form.

Livestock COW ETF Analysis / Commodities / Livestock

By: Chris_Vermeulen

The past year month has been flowing into risk on assets like US equities. And when money is flowing into one investment class there is typically an outflow in others. Commodities in general have been beaten up bad but there is some money to be made here using the livestock COW ETF.

I is amazing how almost all us equity sectors have rallied as big as they have with many still making new sector highs. The only true weak areas in the market look to be commodities specifically precious metals, oil, natural gas, grains, sugar and livestock.

Follow the Money - Sell Google Buy Hogs / Commodities / Livestock

By: Ned_W_Schmidt

Does management of Shuanghui International Holdings understand the future better than most? Or maybe, the Street and its army of overpaid analysts and gurus never understand the future. Whatever the actual situation, the best course for investors may be to simply follow the money.

The Cash Broilers Market / Commodities / Livestock

By: Ned_W_Schmidt

J. Wellington Wimpy was always one of our favorites. The guy was somewhat of a gourmet as his favorite food was hamburgers. He was also a pal of Popeye, an individual addicted to spinach. However, Wimpy would not be happy with the modern world. Finding a good hamburger is tough these days.¹ (Are they still legal in the nanny republic of NYC?) Today the world is filled with an endless variety of boneless, skinless, tasteless, tough-to-chew chicken breast sandwiches? Wimpy would think the world has gone mad if he were still around.

Company Feeding On China's Hearty Appetite For Pork / Companies / Livestock

By: Oxbury_Research

Best Financial Markets Analysis ArticleIn the United States, pork might be "the other white meat," but in China, it's the only meat. Well, almost.

Far more than any other meat, pork occupies a special place in the Chinese diet and economy. Supporting a hog market estimated to be worth $32 billion annually, the Chinese consume more pork than any other nation. It is prepared in almost every conceivable way, from roasted whole suckling pigs, commonly served during holiday feasts, to sweet and sour pork, whose Americanized version is a Chinese restaurant staple. Pork accounts for two-thirds of the average Chinese's protein intake.

Impact of Grains Bull Market on Meat Prices / Commodities / Livestock

By: Zeal_LLC

Best Financial Markets Analysis ArticleAs Americans enter the July 4th weekend they have a lot to look forward to. First and foremost is the celebration of this nation's independence marked by a federal holiday. Then of course are the customary traditions of parades, fireworks, baseball games, and carnivals among the many. But one timeless tradition that nicely ties into the topic of this essay is the almighty barbeque.

Barbequing is near and dear to the hearts of hundreds of millions of Americans. And millions of grillmeisters don their aprons and arm themselves with extra-long stainless-steel-forged tongs and spatulas as they prepare to strut into their backyards for their moments of glory. These champions of grilling take pride in the delectable cuisines they skillfully prepare for friends and family.

Food Inflation- Rising Price of Chickens / Commodities / Livestock

By: Ned_W_Schmidt

Your Buffalo Wings may cost you more. As this week's chart portrays, the cash price of broilers appears ready for a breakout to the upside. Broilers are younger chickens bred for meat consumption, like that used for the popular chicken wrap sandwiches every fast food restaurant seems to be offering. Consumption of chi cken has been generally strong due to the shift from red meats and rising preferences for chicken in a variety of forms.
