Belgium Has Fallen, Will London be Next to Fall if BrExit Fails? / ElectionOracle / EU_Referendum

By: Nadeem_Walayat

The terror attacks on Belgium following a few months on from the Paris outrage are as a consequence of several reasons topped by the catastrophe in Syria that is sending out ripples of chaos that in the first instance are hitting neighbouring countries such as Turkey and Lebanon and increasingly Europe as a consequence of having sent 10,000 disaffected and marginalised muslim youth with little to live for to Syria to seek a way out of the void of their meaningless lives that the Islamic State seeks to fill with promises of instant rewards for eternity in paradise.

FT Misinterprets Sterling Market Action on BrExit Fears, EU Referendum Propaganda? / ElectionOracle / EU_Referendum

By: Nadeem_Walayat

A recent article in the FT's EU Referendum fear campaign is concerned with the rise in the cost of insuring against a fall in sterling as a consequences of the increasing risks of BrExit that it attributes to the Brussels terror attacks. The story is a continuation of operation Fear that began with Boris Johnson's declaring to join the LEAVE / BrExit campaign.

Brexit Defiance of the EU / ElectionOracle / EU_Referendum

By: BATR

The UK media is out in force to scare Brits from voting to leave the European Union. Thursday June 23: Date of the in/out referendum is set for the vote. Just the notion that an actual plebiscite will take place on such an important issue, is encouraging. Proponents of exiting the EU are natural allies in the struggle to promote national populism. The long and distinguished history of England has an opportunity to show the world that the voice of the people can register a resounding repudiation against the technocrats of an unelected European Union.

Global Stakes for the Brexit Vote / ElectionOracle / EU_Referendum

By: Peter_Schiff

On February 20th, UK Prime Minister David Cameron announced that the 'in/out EU referendum' he had promised in the campaign for the last parliamentary vote would finally take place on June 23rd. The outcome of the long-promised vote could have a tremendous impact not merely on the future of Mr. Cameron and his coalition but on the economic future of Great Britain and much of the world, including the European Union (EU) and the United States. It's arguable that the referendum will be the most significant vote the world will see between now and the U.S. presidential ballots in November.

BrExit the Movie: EU Referendum LEAVE or REMAIN | Freedom or London Will Fall / ElectionOracle / EU_Referendum

By: Nadeem_Walayat

The EU referendum debate has resolved into a battle between the establishment on the one hand as represented by Britain and Europe's political elite including the bulk of both mainstream UK political parties (Conservative and Labour), the bankster's, including a scare mongering Bank of England, billionaires, tax dodging corporate giants and of course foreign european governments who are eager for the European Union to further dig its claws into Britain so that they may the european superstate socialist project (EUSSR).

France Threatens UK With Migrants War if British People Vote for BrExit Freedom from EU / ElectionOracle / EU_Referendum

By: Nadeem_Walayat

In the run up to Britain's EU referendum the true colours of the European Union are being revealed as FEAR and THREATS dominate the REMAIN camps agenda. Today we saw the British Prime Minister David 'Chamberlain' Cameron on a podium with President 'Napoleon Complex' Hollande, who proceeded to threaten Britain with a 'Migrant War', one of literally opening the flood gates of hell should the British people vote for Freedom from the emerging European Superstate (EUSSR).

Margaret Thatcher's Warning On The Euro And 'Federal Europe' In 1990 / ElectionOracle / EU_Referendum

By: John_Rubino

As the eurozone spins out of control and Britain considers leaving the European Union, this is a good time to recall some of the debates that led up to the current mess. Here's Margaret Thatcher being extraordinarily prescient about the common currency and European integration.

It's safe to say that many in Britain are glad that Thatcher and her intellectual successors opposed "a federal Europe" -- and that a growing number of Italians, Greeks and Spaniards wish they'd had Thatchers of their own.

Tory Elite Risk British Civil War By Stating Intentions to IGNORE BrExit LEAVE EU Referendum Result / ElectionOracle / EU_Referendum

By: Nadeem_Walayat

A string of senior tories have been making insidious statements declaring that a vote by the British people to LEAVE in the forthcoming EU Referendum does not necessarily mean that the Tory elite would take Britain out of the EU, instead statements have been made that it would be just used as a bargaining chip in future negotiations ahead of a SECOND referendum, and what if Britain votes to LEAVE again, will there be a third, fourth, fifth until the Tory elite get the result they want?

Boris Johnson Joins LEAVE, BrExit Camp - Tory Rats Leaving Sinking REMAIN in EU Ship / ElectionOracle / EU_Referendum

By: Nadeem_Walayat

Boris Johnson woke up today and smelled the coffee that the British public are going to ignore the propaganda of the Westminister elite and instead vote for FREEDOM from the emerging undemocratic and corrupt European Superstate, and so Boris ignored David Cameron's increasingly desperate pleading to declare himself as now being in the LEAVE camp. Which follows a handful of senior ministers who declared yesterday and probably represent the vanguard of many more Tory rats to choose to LEAVE the Tory REMAIN sinking ship, that will likely see their captain, David Cameron's premiership go down with it.

EU Referendum - The British People vs Establishment, Bankster's and Westminister Elite / ElectionOracle / EU_Referendum

By: Nadeem_Walayat

David 'Chamberlain' Cameron returned from Brussels on Saturday to proudly stand outside 10 Downing Street and wave a piece of paper proclaiming 'Reforms in Our Time' to a skeptical British audience who have witnessed the farce of the past week that had seen each member state whittling down what were already pretty feeble proposals from David Cameron so as to prevent the 'contagion' of other EU member states following the same path as Britain which I likened to the EU effectively putting a gun to their head and then proceeding to pull the trigger, and so this is likely to turn out to mark the start of the end of the European Union.

EU Commits Suicide as BrExit Referendum Leave Vote Looks Inevitable / ElectionOracle / EU_Referendum

By: Nadeem_Walayat

Today the European Union looked down the barrel of a gun and then pulled the trigger, as the self interest of individual nations prevailed, and most evidently by the Visegrad-4 (Poland, Hungary, Slovakia and Czech Republic) that continued to put short-term greed ahead of long-term economic and political commonsense leaving David Cameron to emerge Friday Chamberlain style waving a piece of paper of "Reforms in Our Time".

Cameron FAILS - BrExit, Can Britain Break FREE of European Superstate? / ElectionOracle / EU_Referendum

By: Nadeem_Walayat

Prime Minister David Cameron will all but fail in his negotiations with the 28 european union member states, this despite surrendering virtually every red line of his already heavily watered down proposed deal with the European Union who stated would be non binding and only legislate for AFTER the the UK had voted to remain within the EU. Which the EU Parliament President clarified as implying that virtually every aspect of the deal would be subject to debate and amendment from the dozen or so eastern european benefits claiming states, who would likely decide to reject most of the so called UK deal that would effectively have been used as a smoke screen to hoodwink the British people into giving up their democracy and freedom.

BrExit - Visegrad Conspiracy, Poland, Hungary, Slovakia and Czech Refuse to give up Migrant Benefit Payments from Britain / ElectionOracle / EU_Referendum

By: Nadeem_Walayat

With single mindedness or madness the Visegrad conspirator nations of Poland, Hungary, Slovakia and Czech Republic have refused to play along with the smoke and mirrors illusion that the European Commission has been constructing for David Cameron to hoodwink the British public into voting to remain within the EU. Instead all four conspirator nations are refusing to give up a single £1 in benefits payments from British tax payers to their citizens by flatly refusing any curb in child benefit payments claimed for several million children who reside in their home nations to the determent of British children in terms of a lower payout rate and tapering of child benefit than would otherwise be the case given an estimated 1/3rd of the budget is being siphoned off into eastern europe.

EU President Tells David Cameron to Get Stuffed on Migrant Benefits Reforms / Politics / EU_Referendum

By: Nadeem_Walayat

The un elected President of the European Parliament, warned David Cameron that even the heavily watered down agreement due to be announced by the end of this week would not be legally binding and subject to debate and revision by MEP members AFTER the UK votes to stay in the European Union, members who will be guided by their respective UK benefits recipient governments such as Poland, Hungary, and a dozen other eastern european UK benefits claiming states.

David Cameron Humiliated in Poland Over Refusal to Stop Taking UK Benefits, BrExit or Super State? / ElectionOracle / EU_Referendum

By: Nadeem_Walayat

The British Prime Minister, David Cameron within days of waving a white piece of paper 'Chamberlain' style received form the EU's Donald Tusk, has since been busy trying to put up a propaganda smoke screen of success of negotiations for the British public to swallow in the run up the UK's EU Freedom Referendum, literally seen begging Eastern European states to play a long with the charade so as to hood wink the British people into giving up their very final chance of attaining freedom from the emerging EU super state.

BrExit EU Referendum - Britain's FINAL Chance for Freedom From Emerging European Superstate / Politics / EU_Referendum

By: Nadeem_Walayat

Britain's Prime Minister, David Cameron emerged on Tuesday waving a piece of paper 'Chamberlain' style of a 'draft' deal that follows several months of negotiations that had the PM running around Europe begging the likes of Donald Tusk (former Polish Prime Minister) and former eastern block nations for some return of sovereignty to Britain. A piece of paper that whilst heavy on number of pages but is light on substance of anything that comes even close to matching the Conservative Manifesto pledges of a series of supposed red lines ahead of Britain's EU In / Out referendum.

EU UK Draft or Daft Agreement By Donald Tusk to Members of the European Council in Full / Politics / EU_Referendum

By: Nadeem_Walayat

David Cameron's The long awaited agreement with Donald Tusk that was said would settle the UK's place in the European Union for once and for all ahead of an EU in out referendum. On first glance the lengthy 150 page+ proposal looks confusing and contradictory in places whilst weak on actual substance of what David Cameron had set out as his red lines on benefits and controlling unlimited EU migration. I am going to have to spend several hours trying to understand this MESS, but it does appear to be complete and utter slap in the face for Britain, which itself will be heavily watered down by predominantly eastern european states that are on the receiving end of £15 billion per annum in transfer payments from UK tax payers such as benefits claimed sent home to support eastern european economies.

EU Referendum - Assessing Britain's Ties to the Europe Union / ElectionOracle / EU_Referendum

By: STRATFOR

Mark Fleming-Williams writes: At some point in the next two years, British voters will decide whether to remain a part of the European Union. This will be the first time Britons have been consulted on the subject since 1975, when 67 percent voted to stay in. If it does decide to leave, the United Kingdom will become the first country to leave the European Union since it was created as the European Community in 1957. The repercussions would be felt not just in Britain, but also across the Continent and indeed across the world. To predict the eventual result of the vote, it is first important to understand the factors that have kept the United Kingdom in the union this long.
