Lack of online access began at 2am (GMT) 9th March and has continued through 2am (GMT) 10th of March, it remains to be seen if online access will resume from 5am (GMT) 10th March as a 24 hour loss of service is an extraordinarily long period of time when compared to usual intermittent faults that can occur from time to time.

Standard Life Bank was bought by Barclays in October 2009 for £226m, it is not clear if service interruption is related to the merging of systems.
