Has the Election already been Stolen for Romney/Ryan? / ElectionOracle / US Presidential Election 2012
For at least the past four decades, the American election process has been controlled by corporations and agents connected to the Republican Party. This year’s “contest” is no different.
Voter suppression campaigns have been underway across America, by Republican operatives. (See Black Box Voting and Brad Blog). Nothing is being done to stop it.

Hurricane Sandy Impact on U.S. Presidential Election 2012 / ElectionOracle / US Presidential Election 2012
Super storm hurricane Sandy appears to have wiped Romney's election chances off the face of the political map, as President Obama has had 3 full days to capitalise on his role as commander in chief by broadcast coverage of what a thousand political ads could not have bought, with some 80% of the american public saying that he has handled the crisis well as Obama made sure he did not repeat the mistakes of George Bush following Hurricane Katrina by being seen to care for the people hit by hurricane Sandy, the widespread damage of which is still yet to be fully realised.

Americans Proudly Voting for Evil / ElectionOracle / US Presidential Election 2012
As our society continues to rapidly decay, we have a presidential election in which the zombies will be out there in droves voting for the two statists, Obama and Romney.
The conservatives continue to support an aggressive and belligerent foreign policy – despite all its blowback – that includes indiscriminate drone bombings and murders of innocent foreigners. So much for being "pro-life."

Remember, Remember the Sixth of November / ElectionOracle / US Presidential Election 2012
They've mastered it. Slow hand clap. Huzzah!
The US democratic fasco-communist system has finally mastered the US elections. Before it used to at least hold out some sort of imagined hope of a change. McCrazy versus the Obamanator? The creator of the internet, Al Gore, versus the wretched filth offspring of the Bush Crime Family? At least they had a perception of having a difference!

U.S. Presidential Elections in Perspective / ElectionOracle / US Presidential Election 2012
The U.S. presidential election will be held a week from today, and if the polls are correct, the outcome will be extraordinarily close. Many say that the country has never been as deeply divided. In discussing the debates last week, I noted how this year's campaign is far from the most bitter and vitriolic. It might therefore be useful also to consider that while the electorate at the moment appears evenly and deeply divided, unlike what many say, that does not reveal deep divisions in our society -- unless our society has always been deeply divided.

U.S. Presidential Election Voter Fraud is Inevitable from Digital Voting Machines / ElectionOracle / US Presidential Election 2012
Technology changes, while human nature remains constant. Voter fraud is a repetitive part of the election experience. The lack of integrity in voting procedures, and more importantly the ballot counting process, causes the gravest concerns and casts substantial doubt on the legitimacy of the entire political system. Eight years ago in a different presidential cycle, the article 2004 - a time to go fishing, asks why do people tolerate this tainted and pseudo election process.

Who Will Win the U.S. Presidential Election, Forecast 2012 / ElectionOracle / US Presidential Election 2012
The final countdown to the U.S. presidential election has now begun with expectations that there is little that each candidate can now effect on the electorate during the remaining 10 days. Most opinion polls currently put Romney slightly ahead of Obama i.e. ABC 50/47, BBC Poll of Polls 49/47, Gallop 48/48. However the high margin of error of as much as +/ -5%, and typically +/ -3% compounded by the electoral college system makes all of these opinion polls unreliable in trying to determine the US election outcome, therefore this analysis is focused on key events that impact on determining a probable forecast for the US presidential election 2012.

U.S.Election 2012 Means the Real Bernanke Bombshells Won't Fall Until December / ElectionOracle / US Presidential Election 2012
Martin Hutchinson writes: If you were expecting big news from this week's Fed meeting it looks like you are going to be in for a long wait. This week's FOMC meeting was business as usual.
There was no change in interest rates, no change in the determination to keep rates low into 2015 and no change in the Fed's latest solution, otherwise known as QE infinity.

The Purpose of U.S. Presidential Debates / ElectionOracle / US Presidential Election 2012
Monday night's presidential foreign policy debate probably won't change the opinion of many voters. Proponents of President Barack Obama are still convinced that Mitt Romney is a fool and a liar. Proponents of former Gov. Romney have the same view of the president.
Of course, this is normal in any American presidential race. Along with the eternal conviction that the party in power is destroying the country, we have regarded Abraham Lincoln, during the 1860 election, as a simple-minded country bumpkin with a touch of larceny; Franklin Roosevelt as a rich dilettante and socialist; and Dwight Eisenhower as a bumbling fool who is lazy and incapable of understanding the complexity of the world -- this about the man who, during World War II, led the most complex military coalition on the planet to victory.

Top Five Reasons Not to Vote in U.S. Presidential Election / ElectionOracle / US Presidential Election 2012
Doug Casey, Casey Research: L: Doug, we've spoken about presidents. We have a presidential election coming up in the US – an election that could have significant consequences on our investments. But given the views you've already expressed on the Tea Party movement and anarchy, I'm sure you have different ideas. What do you make of the impending circus, and what should a rational man do?

Romney, Obama, Who Should Libertarians Vote For? / ElectionOracle / US Presidential Election 2012
Joel Poindexter writes: In yet another appeal from Republicans, Brady Cremeens, writing for The Right Sphere, is urging libertarians to set aside their differences and vote for Mitt Romney. The piece is so full of political clichés about "American prosperity and strength," how destructive another Obama term would be, and how Romney "gives us the chance" to save the republic, that I got half way through it before realizing he wasn't writing tongue-in-cheek. It seems he actually believes what he writes, or at least makes a pretty decent attempt to convince us that he's serious.

Romney Is a Liberal / ElectionOracle / US Presidential Election 2012
Paul Gottfried writes: For once in a blue moon, I find myself agreeing with Dana Milbank of the Washington Post (October 18) when he observes that "conservatives are mum about Mitt’s moderation." Making allowances for Milbank’s ideologically colored view, when he says that in recent weeks the Republican presidential candidate "sprinted toward the center," this columnist is correct on two points. One, Romney has abandoned just about every "conservative" social position he took during the primaries; and two, "conservative" commentators and GOP regulars don’t seem to mind. They’re too busy celebrating Romney’s ascent in presidential polls, or else complaining that Romney hasn’t savaged Obama’s foreign policy furiously enough.

US Presidential Election 2012, What Is There To Vote For? / ElectionOracle / US Presidential Election 2012
New York, New York: As Americans prepare to go to the polls, the airwaves are littered with paid advertising of the crassest and most manipulative kind. Political issues packaged by ad agencies are flooding the arena of politics with nasty negative ads.
So far, the two parties and their backers have spent a half billion dollars on political advertising with much of the placements still to come in the next few weeks. CBS reports the “spend” will top a billion dollars ---just on ads.

Obamneycare Converts Health Care Into Profits / ElectionOracle / US Presidential Election 2012
In the guest section there is a new contribution by Dr. Robert S. Dotson. He points out that “Obamneycare” is two versions of the same thing. A person has to be gullible and uninformed to believe the claims of Obama and Romney that their replacements for Medicare will save money and improve care. What the schemes do is convert public monies into private profits.

The Obama Youth Army / ElectionOracle / US Presidential Election 2012
Recent legislation attempting to legitimize the use of internment camps to detain U.S. citizens in the event of an uprising or civil unrest has many people asking what nation they live in.
In a country born out of political dissent, we watch our leaders in Washington slowly pass bills that label ordinary Americans as thought criminals and potential domestic terrorists for simply questioning the actions of their government. We see third party candidates and their impassioned supporters listed in secret government reports that call their allegiance into question and brand them as fanatics and extremists.

Stocks to Buy and Sell if Romney Wins U.S. Presodential Election 2012 / Companies / US Presidential Election 2012
Diane Alter writes: Over the past several weeks, GOP presidential hopeful Mitt Romney's momentum has spiked. Recent polls place him running neck-and-neck with or even edging ahead of President Barack Obama.
Besides strong debate performances, key factors have turned in Romney's favor.
Myriad surveys in a dozen crucial swing states show voter's concerns are increasing regarding the mushrooming fiscal deficit, debt issues and the depressed job market, issues that favor Romney.

Obama/Romney Presidential Debate Was a Long Walk Through Fantasy Land / ElectionOracle / US Presidential Election 2012
Martin Hutchinson writes: On economic matters, the second presidential debate on Tuesday evening is one that took place in fantasyland.
Despite the spin, it bore no relation whatsoever to the problems we actually face.
Much of the economic part of the discussion centered around the President Barack Obama's and Governor Mitt Romney's competing plans to cut taxes. That discussion itself was laughable.
