While The Stocks Bulls Fiddle With The 'Fundamentals,' Rome Burns / Stock-Markets / Stock Markets 2018
In the past, I have outlined why fundamentals look best at market highs, and worst at market lows. And, just like we normally experience, as we were soaring over 2900, I am sure many of you were convinced that this was one of the best economies we have seen in quite some time. But, we seem to have topped on those great expectations.
As the market continued to chop around near the lows this past week, I saw an article entitled “The Steep Stock Market Sell-off Does Not Make Sense.” Within that article, the author highlights the fact that earnings growth remains healthy, the economy continues to grow, and that equity valuation are at the lower end of their historical range.

The Historic Role of Silver / Commodities / Gold and Silver 2018
Precious metals expert Michael Ballanger discusses the role of silver historically as well as recent moves in the market. Could there have ever been constructed four finer sentences strung together for the purpose of defining eight items related to money and social standing than the following?
"Gold is the money of kings. Silver is the money of gentlemen. Barter is the money of peasants. And debt is the money of slaves."
While they sound impressive, and while I understand the reason for their construct, I actually take umbrage with the linkage of debt to slavery because slavery is a man-induced condition whereby one man is responsible for the enslavement of another while debt is often (but not always) a choice made by the individual. If that were a paragraph to which I could be allowed to impart my name, I would say "And debt is the money of sloth", rather than "slave," where those that opt for debt over savings wind up with an unfavourable outcome, one connoted by the original sin of "sloth." Ergo, the alteration. . .

Natural Gas Price Setup for a Big Move Lower / Commodities / Natural Gas
Our proprietary Fibonacci predictive modeling system is suggesting Natural Gas is about to break down below the $4.30 level and move aggressively toward the $3.05~3.25 level. This could be an incredible move for energy traders and a complete bust for existing longs.
This Weekly Natural Gas chart is showing our Fibonacci Predictive modeling system and highlighting the lower support price targets just above $3.00. We believe price weakness will break the $4.30 level very quickly and drive prices well below the $3.40 level – very likely towards support near $3.25 over the next few weeks.

Is the Buyer’s Market for Silver Coming to an End? / Commodities / Gold and Silver 2018
Few markets are as depressed – and, as many analysts argue, suppressed – as silver. Prices for the white metal continue to languish in a low-level trading range amidst lackluster demand.
The upshot for investors is that they can now obtain silver bullion at both a low spot price and a low premium above spot.
How long this buyer’s market will is unknowable last. But given silver’s manic-depressive personality, prices could launch explosively higher at any time.

Gold Price Analysis: Closer To A Significant Monetary Event / Commodities / Gold and Silver 2018
Previously, I have shown how we could be close to major financial crisis with the monetary system at the center. The following chart that shows the ratio of gold to the monetary base was used:
The chart shows the ratio of the gold price to the St. Louis Adjusted Monetary Base back to 1918. That is the gold price in US dollars divided by the St. Louis Adjusted Monetary Base in billions of US dollars. (from macrotrends.com)

Politics and Economics in Times of Crisis / Politics / Social Issues
The news still isn’t the news, and I’m getting afraid it never will be again, because not the news just simply sells so much better than plain old real events. Maria Butina suddenly popped back into the public eye, because she was either charged with something or confessed to it. And I’m thinking, excuse me, but that poor girl has been kept in isolation for how long now? And for what reason exactly?
I vividly remember thinking that when she first became ‘news’ for ‘infiltrating’ the NRA, for which there were plenty cute pictures taken, I remember thinking she would have been 22 or 23 years old when as a super- devious Russian redhead she allegedly penetrated the trillion dollar NRA, and the trillion dollar Republican Party, and the Trump campaign, which according to some people is now worth negative $1 trillion.

Stock Dividend Yields Over 9% and Discounts Up to 22% Make for Buy / Companies / Dividends
Money manager Adrian Day looks at several non-resource companies in his portfolio, most with very attractive dividend yields as high as more than 9%.
Gladstone Investment Corp. (GAIN, Nasdaq, 9.92) fell sharply after reporting a decline in Net Investment Income (the number on which dividends are based) to a level below the distribution. But it wasn't as bad as the headline number suggested, and the stock, after falling from $10.61 to as low as $9.58, has since recaptured part of its loss.

Ways to Improve the Value of Your Home / Housing-Market / Home Improvements
Property value now seems to finally be rising again, however there are also many ways you can improve this in your own homes. Here we cover ways to improve the value of your home.
Structural problems are always an issue for many homes and can lead to extra expenses down the road. Therefore it is important to identify these at an early stage and get them sorted. This could be done through redesigning the kitchen or bathroom areas. A few examples of regular problems include broken roof tiles, rotten timbers and even cracks in walls. Doors could also be damaged, so upgrading to a composite door would be a good investment moving forward and these are available here.

Theresa May No Confidence Vote, Next Tory Leader Betting Market Analysis and Forecasts / Politics / UK Politics
Theresa May, Britain's disastrous Prime Minister is likely counting down to her final hours in office after this morning failing to resign in response the triggering of a Vote of No Confidence in her leadership of the Conservative Party that follows her disastrous decision Monday to pull the Tuesday vote on her "EU Withdrawal Agreement" and then her catastrophic tour yesterday of Europe's capitals, literally begging EU Leaders for some scraps off their table. Most of whom looked on in amusement at the leader of a once mighty nation now groveling at their feet. Which was the straw that broke the camels back for many Tory MP's who wrote letters in their dozens to the Tory Party's 1920 back bench committee to triggered a vote of no confidence to take place between 6pm and 8pm today.

Gold & Global Financial Crisis Redux / Stock-Markets / Financial Markets 2018
The Global Financial Crisis, a broader deeper more powerful systemic crisis than the Lehman Event was, has finally arrived in a great redux. It is seen in numerous areas. We have finally arrived at the ten-year anniversary of the Lehman event, a killjob whereby JPMorgan and Goldman Sachs bought a few $billion in mortgage bonds and never paid Lehman Brothers. The firm died, called a financial failure, but was actually a strangulation. Goldman went on to capture AIG, in order to claim 100 cents per dollar on insured mortgage bonds, a second crime. The Wall Street banks, under the leader Henry Paulsen as the managing USTreasury Secretary, completed the third crime, by pitching the $700 billion TARP Fund. They stole it, using the fund for enriching themselves with redeemed preferred stock, instead of making the funds available for lending purposes. Here ten years later, nothing has been fixed. In fact, all the abuses heaped upon the mortgage finance sector have been repeated in sovereign bonds. The USTreasury Bond has become a subprime bond, financed by pure monetization, almost no actual bonds buyers, $trillion annual deficits, auctions rigged, with hidden demand from the derivative machinery. It qualifies as a Third World debt security. The corporate bonds were routinely abused in stock buybacks, hardly ever ploughed back into the business. High yield bonds are the norm now, along with the wrecked Emerging Market bonds. There are many analysts who call the current situation the Everything Bond Bubble.

Solar Powered LED Waterproof Camping / Garden Light Review - IdeaLife / Personal_Finance / Reviews
This is a review of a waterproof solar powered LED Camping / Garden light that costs £15.99 Amazon. The light is a silver disc with a plastic cover that I presume is what it gets it's waterproofing from. The disc is about 1cm in thickness, populated with 10 LED's and has 2 large solar panels on the back. The light has 4 modes of operation. Low light, medium light, high light, and flashing. And as the video illustrates medium mode setting gives a good brightness.

Stock Market Topping Formation as Risks Rise Around the World / Stock-Markets / Financial Crisis 2018
Brexit Woes
British Prime Minister Theresa May delayed a critical parliamentary vote on her proposal to leave the European Union, throwing both her government and her plans for the U.K.’s exit from the bloc into disarray. The big problem in brexit is ireland. Ireland is a EU member. Post Brexit, EU argues, that Ireland will be subject to EU rules while UK seeks assurances from them that a last-resort “backstop” guarantee that ensures no hard border appears between the Republic of Ireland and British-ruled Northern Ireland. But securing such a concession will be a challenge. So we are clearly moving towards a hard brexit and GBPUSD will fall from the current levels of 1.25. One of the best ways to take advantage of the brexit is via trading the GBPUSD via trade copier at fxcot.com

The Amazing Story of Gold to Gold Stocks Ratios / Commodities / Gold and Silver Stocks 2018
Tonight I would like to show you some charts from the PM complex we haven’t looked at in a long time. Some of these charts will look familiar to some of our long term members as they were very helpful in the past to help us figure out what the PM complex was up to. This first chart is a ratio combo chart which has the GOLD:XAU on top and the XAU on the bottom. When the ratio is rising gold is outperforming the XAU. During the bull market years starting around 1999 or so the ratio would trade between roughly 5.10 on top, blue horizontal line, and 3.70 on the bottom, red hormonal line. When the ratio rallied up to the blue line around the 5.10 area it was a good time to back up the truck and buy your favorite PM stocks and when the ratio got down to the red line around the 3.70 it was a good time to sell your PM stocks.

Stock Market Medium term Bullish, But Long Term Risk:Reward is Bearish / Stock-Markets / Stock Markets 2018
Last week’s market outlook was not clearly explained, so I would like to clarify.
Our models have not yet turned long term bearish, although they are getting close to turning long term bearish. But while building new and better models like the Macro Index, I’ve come to realize that at least from a long term risk:reward perspective, it doesn’t favor long term bulls. Market outlook and risk:reward are not the same thing. Here’s an example.

Natural Gas Breaks Lower Towards Our $3.00 Target / Commodities / Natural Gas
Just about seven days ago we alerted all of our followers to a massive breakdown move that was about to unfold in Natural Gas. At that time, we predicted the price of Natural Gas would break below $4.30 and fall quickly towards the $3.00~3.20 level. Taking a look at that call now, with the price below $3.60, it seems our analysis was perfectly timed.
