Northern General Hospital Orthopedics Fractures and and Ankle Clinic Consultations Real Patient Experience / Politics / NHS
Here's what to at expect at the Northern General Hospitals' Orthopedics Fractures and Ankles clinic which is where I ended up with an appointment following an injury to my foot, a suspected ruptured Achilles tendon, in advance of which I had an ultrasound also at the Northern General where no info was forthcoming not even of it the scan showed anything good or bad, still that must be upto the consultant to explain what's what and what to do next to get back to recovery.
The entrance to the clinic is next to A&E, a quick book in using the reception touch screen and then after a 40 minute wait my name was called to enter a small cubical that had a computer screen that apparently had an image of what could be my foot so and began the consultation which lasted.....

Cathie Wood Goes All in on Teladoc, ARKK INSANE Noob Investing Strategy! / Companies / Exchange Traded Funds
I really feel sorry for investors who have got sucked into ARKK hype for as they obviously failed to realise that she was just spouting a total load of BS and so got sucked into the ARKK hype sales vortex, reminds me of people who are brainwashed into buying Timeshare apartments that they come to regret for the rest of their lives! Which is the case with ARK! ARK K is NEVER coming back to it's highs let alone X4 over the last 5 years! which is what I have repeatedly warned as my December video in response to Cathie's then latest hype videos illustrates. At the time ARKK was around $95 and she was spouting it would X4 over the next 5 years. Today ARKK is trading at $40, that's over a 50% drop from where I forecast it would be by now some 5 months ago, and down 75% from it's high!

This is Anything but Positive for US Housing Market / Housing-Market / US Housing
Has the rise in mortgage rates only begun?
A tug-of-war between bullish and bearish forces appears to be playing out in the U.S. housing market.
On the one hand, some areas of the country are still experiencing record-high home prices as buyers outnumber sellers.
On the other, the number of home sellers who dropped their asking price spiked to a six-month high of 15% during a four-week period ending on May 1, according to a Redfin report released on May 6.
Another development that falls in the bearish category for residential real estate is rising mortgage rates.
Here's what the April Elliott Wave Financial Forecast, a monthly publication which provides analysis of major U.S. financial markets, noted as it showed this chart:

What Should We Do If There Is No Fed Monetary Policy Pivot? / Stock-Markets / US Federal Reserve Bank
While investors may have been betting on a Fed pivot, expert Michael Ballanger analyzes where we may find ourselves if they don't.
As a young and very brash “stock salesman” in the early 1980s (Note: Back then, they did not call us “wealth managers” or “investment professionals” or “advisors.”), I discovered a newsletter writer that was the best storyteller I have ever read, and his name was Richard Russell. The author and founder of the 1958 “Dow Theory Letters,” he rose to fame after calling the bottom of the horrendous 1973-1974 bear market in December of the terminal year resulting in a bombardment of catcalls and peer-pressure ridicule. Nobody—and I mean NOBODY—expected that stock prices were going to do anything but continue to crater and that was what made him such a beast.
As we do our collective best to weather this storm of selling pressure in what started as tech stocks but which has now migrated to literally everything, I am reminded of one of the more poignant “Russell-isms.” He said, “In a bear market, he who loses the least, wins.”
“My losses have taught me that I must not begin to advance until I am sure I shall not have to retreat.” — Edwin Lefevre
That phrase is the major portion of the reason that I advised subscribers on January 7th of this year, with the S&P 500 clipping above 4,800, that capital preservation was our primary focus and that volatility would dominate the investment landscape in 2022.

How low Could the Amazon Stock Price Fall? / Companies / Amazon
Amazon $2485 : PE 46.7: EGF -68% : EC 332
Amazon Crashed 10% on BAD earnings as Amazon delivered an EPS of -$7.56 vs $8.73 expected, why were Amazon's earnings so bad? It's because the US is going into significant economic slowdown that increases the odds of a recession being declared this year!. Amazons PE before earnings was 43.7, AFTER earnings and the price plunge the PE is 46.7, That's right AMAZON is MORE EXPENSIVE AFTER the PRICE DROP THAN BEFORE! Pay attention here and learn a valuable lesson not to just buy a stock because it drops! For amazon to trade at a PE of 43.7 the stock would need to drop to $2325.

NASDAQ 100 Stock Market LOWER LOWS & LOWER HIGH / Stock-Markets / Tech Stocks
Following and trading on price can be compared to the reading of a good book. As we read each page, we acquire additional information that may give us a better understanding of the unfolding story.
The same is true of the market, as each day is like the reading of another page. The pages of a book make up chapters. These chapters in trading represent bull markets, bear markets, distribution and accumulation, and time frames of high and low volatility.
Unfortunately, in trading, we cannot skip to the end of the book to learn how everything turns out. However, as traders, we have learned that studying and remembering the past can pay great dividends.
Trading price in its rawest form is simply plotting and studying price without the use of moving averages, stochastics, RSI, or other technical indicators. This simplified but often overlooked methodology can offer everything a trader needs to be successful.

Sanctions, trade wars worsen US inflation / Economics / Protectionism
The Fed’s aggressive and belated rate hikes will escalate economic challenges in the US and elsewhere, thanks to ill-advised sanctions and trade wars.Recently, the Federal Reserve lifted its benchmark interest rate by half a percentage point, to a range of 0.75%-1%, following a smaller rise in March. It was the Fed’s biggest increase in 22 years.
Last fall, Jerome Powell, the Fed chairman, still characterized rising prices as "transitionary" which would not leave “a permanent mark in the form of higher inflation.”
So, when inflation began to climb rapidly after mid-year 2021, the Fed ignored it until it soared.

AI Tech Stocks Earnings BloodBath Buying Opportunity / Companies / Tech Stocks
Dear Reader
In advance of my US housing market trend forecast to be posted before the end of this month here is a timely look at the big AI tech stocks that are reporting earnings next week, where the dominos could finally start falling as they continue Friday's plunge on break of key support levels for the likes of Nvidia and Google, where after a long wait big buying levels are finally starting to get triggered in the latest phase of the stealth stocks bear market that is cycling through target stocks like the tasmanian devil as we saw during the past week, with Friday's plunge ending what had been an developing stocks bounce, where my focus was on Google as it finally broke below $2400, a level that I had long flagged to patrons of where I would be buying big and in advance of warned Patrons for several weeks not to jump the gun regardless of what the indices were doing.

Futures Contract – Trading Crude Oil With USO / Commodities / Crude Oil
Crude oil, like most commodities, is not priced as a single data point like a stock. Instead, commodities, like oil, trade via futures contracts. A futures contract is an agreement to buy or sell a particular commodity or security at a predetermined price at a specified time in the future. Futures contracts are standardized for quantity and quality specifications to facilitate trading on a futures exchange.
Unlike options, futures contracts do not have a time value component in their pricing. Each futures contract is a standalone contract with its own ending date, supply and demand, and market-determined price for the underlying product. Another key difference between options and futures is that while an option gives the holder a right to buy or sell at a specific price, exercising that right is optional. A futures contract is a legal contract for delivering an underlying physical product or, in some cases, a cash equivalent. Futures contract performance is a legally binding agreement and is not optional.

UK Public Debt Smoking Inflation Gun / Economics / UK Debt
Britains debt mountain has long since passed the £2 trillion pound mark, so how come the UK managed to do this without paying the piper? A free lunch given low UK bond interest rates, we'll it's because the Bankster of England has MONETIZED near HALF of Britains DEBT! Now do you understand where the INFLATION is coming from? Yes, as I wrote 12 YEARS AGO in my 100 page Inflation Mega-trend ebook that Inflation is by DESIGN caused by rampant government money printing that the central banks monetize! Which the Bank of England has now done to the tune of near £1 trillion! Which resolves in a fake debt to GDP graph such as the one below that the academic economists get their knickers in a twist over without able to think outside of the box and realise the fundamental fact that actual UK market debt is HALF that which is being reported because the Government is effectively PAYING ITSELF INTEREST on HALF of it's debt! Why don't the clowns in MSM report on any of this? After all It's not rocket science!

What Happens When the Stock Market Dip Keeps Dipping? / Stock-Markets / Stock Market 2022
These can "work tirelessly to keep investors trapped on the wrong side of a bearish trend"
It's been a rocky road for the Dow and the S&P 500 index since the start of the year. And, even longer for the NASDAQ, which topped back in November.
Indeed, speaking of technology stocks, some of the most popular names took a big beating in April alone. As the Wall Street Journal noted (April 29):
The FAANG stocks, consisting of the popular quintet of Facebook parent Meta Platforms, Apple, Amazon.com, Netflix and Google parent Alphabet, have collectively lost more than $1 trillion in market value [in April], the most since Facebook started trading in May 2012.
So, you might think that this bumpy ride in the stock market would have many investors at least considering moving to the sidelines, especially those with a sizeable nest egg to protect.

Biden Seeks Inflation Scapegoats; Gold Advocate Wins GOP Primary / Politics / Government Spending
Elevated inflation readings and stock market turmoil continue to inflict pain on investors. Some are hoping for a quick turnaround. Others are just looking for a place to hide.
Unfortunately, there have been virtually no safe havens from the broad-based carnage outside of the energy sector and gold.
Gold has been one of the best performing assets this year by virtue of holding up better than stocks, bonds, and cryptos. But the yellow metal came under some heavy selling pressure in futures markets this week.
Metals markets seem to be trading more in line with economic slowdown fears and margin calls on Wall Street than with inflation. That will likely change when the recent spate of panic selling subsidies.

Apple and Microsoft Nuts Are About to CRACK and Send Stock Market Sharply Lower / Stock-Markets / Stock Market 2022
The earnings bloodbath materialised, that started on Tuesday with Google trading down to $2265, and ended on Friday with Amazon plunging down to a new low of $2425. With the two 'cheap' stocks Qualcom and Facebook rallying strongly post earnings. Virtually everything went according to the script of my last article i.e. "we could see Amazon trade to well under $2500, probably into the $2450 to $2300 support zone". The only odd one out was Apple that refused to budge much from $160, where my expectations remain is headed to below $142.

The War on Gold Ensures the Dollar’s Downfall / Commodities / Gold and Silver 2022
By Matthew Cortez, Last month was the 89th anniversary of one of America’s biggest blunders on her descent from honest, sound money into weaponized political money: Executive Order 6102.Signed on April 5, 1933, U.S. President Franklin Delano Roosevelt required all persons holding more than five ounces of gold to deliver their “gold coin, gold bullion, and gold certificates, now owned by them to a Federal Reserve Bank, branch or agency, or to any member bank of the Federal Reserve System.”
By outlawing the so-called “hoarding” of gold, Roosevelt intended to destroy gold as an everyday currency, transferring the purchasing power of gold to the U.S. government.

Crypto Investors Stable Coins TERROR as Terra USD COLLAPSEs towards ZERO, Tether Next! / Currencies / cryptocurrency
It's been a while since I last did a video warning about stable coins such USDT or rather unstable coins that are supposed to be pegged to the dollar that I have repeatedly warned are ponzi schemes backed by high risk debt instruments as that is how issuers make their money they put your dollars to work in high risk corporate bonds, and even crypto's where everything sales along until the peg cracks when investors realise that their stable coin holdings are not covered by the value of the underlying assets and then it collapses in spectacular style event at a greater pace than when crypto's crash and so it was yesterday with Terra USD more aptly Terror USD.
